About

Eric Garvey is a tourism and destination strategy executive with more than twenty years of experience across destination marketing, hospitality operations, and national tourism policy.

He led the Space Coast Office of Tourism in Brevard County, Florida from 2014 to 2018, growing the office's lodging tax revenue past $10 million and unifying six communities under a single destination brand. He chaired the U.S. Department of Transportation's National Advisory Committee on Travel and Tourism Infrastructure, and earlier led destination marketing for Georgia's Jekyll Island Authority.

Eric currently oversees a multi-property portfolio for Baugher Hotel Group on Florida's Space Coast and serves as President of the Cocoa Beach Area Hotel & Lodging Association. EJG is his consulting practice for destinations and tourism operators nationwide.
